What Cloudberry is

Cloudberry is a wellness and storytelling tool for bedtime comfort and routine. It is not a medical device, does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or therapy, and does not replace a qualified professional.

About Help with a Nightmare

Help with a Nightmare draws on the principles of Imagery Rehearsal Therapy (IRT), an established technique in which a nightmare is rewritten based on a new, safe scenario and rehearsed. Research supports IRT mainly in adults; research with young children is more limited. Cloudberry is not IRT delivered by a clinician, and results vary.

When to seek help

Talk to a doctor or child psychologist if nightmares are frequent or lasting, if your child is afraid to sleep or shows lasting changes in behavior, or if stories seem to increase your child’s distress.

In an emergency

Cloudberry is not an emergency service and is not monitored. If anyone is in danger, contact your local emergency services.

Your role

All story content is created with AI and may not suit every child. Cloudberry is designed to be used by an adult, and its safety checks assume that an adult enters all information using reasonable judgment. Read every story before sharing it, stay with your child, especially during fear and nightmare stories, and stop if your child becomes upset.
